Fermacell Screws

The screws are suitable for fixing one or more layers of FERMACELL Gypsum Fibreboard to timber and metal sub-frames.

FERMACELL Screws with a drill tip can be used to fix the boards to high gauge metal frames up to 2 mm thick. Screws can be fixed into the FERMACELL Gypsum Fibreboards up to the edge (approx. 10 mm) without the board chipping or crumbling. FERMACELL Screws are fixed directly into the base frame and do not require pre-drilling. Electric screwdrivers (nominal speed of at least 4000 rpm) or the screwdriver attachments on conventional drills have proved successful for fixing FERMACELL Screws.
